Aontas Star Awards 2014

Five outstanding examples of adult education each received an AONTAS STAR award in recognition of their work

Pictured above : The Blue Teapot Theatre Company, who featured in the recent documentary ‘Somebody to Love’ were the winners in the Connaught category, for their work in providing accredited learning opportunities in the performing arts for adults with intellectual disabilities. Project FUTSAL, a highly innovative FAI led initiative which delivers training and education to people who are unemployed in sports and recreation was the winner of the Nationwide award.
