STARS of film, sport and business joined the Irish in Britain for a stellar night at this year’s Irish Post Awards, which took place last night in London. Jonathan Rhys Meyers, one of six award-winners, was presented with his Legend Award by Lord of the Dance creator Michael Flatley, last year’s Irish Post Lifetime Achievement Award winner. A special Community Award was also be given out on the night to Michael Forde, Chairman of the Irish World Heritage Centre in Manchester. The Michele Hannan designed Irish Post Awards 2014 are sponsored by Allied Irish Bank GB, The Color Company and media partner, CityAM.
