Now in its 11th year, the Sustainable Energy Awards, presented by SEAI, encourage and reward excellence in energy management. This years SEAI awards were a great example of how the timeless traditional craftmanship of metal working when combined with the precision of modern technology, can create a very unique bespoke trophy.
Following on from the hugelly popular glass awards created by artist Michael Ray last year, our challenge was to create a commissioned award that best represented the Sustainable Energy Authority of Irelands unique logo. The final design by metal worker Edward Cooke was a combination of copper & wood. Ed showed in this commissioned trophy how different copper finishes & colours can give a maximum impact, exactly what a client loves. The awards were a huge success on the night and are now sitting proudly throughout the country.
This years ambition winner was Comharchumann Fuinnimh Oileáin Árainn Teo (CFOAT)
