The Spark of Innovation was our first award of 2015. Designed and manufactured by one of our most recent suppliers, Sculpture Designer, an Irish based company, made up of a group of former lead crystal skilled craftsmen. This unique trophy was a huge hit on the day.
Our brief was to create a corporate trophy that best represented this exciting new event. This new awards event was being held at The Business of Sports Science conference in association with British Telecom , during this year’s BT Young Scientist & technology exhibition at the RDS Dublin.
We presented a number of initial trophy idea images to the client, including metal sculpted trophies and wooden awards. As the graphic design of the poster for this event was so strong, we encapsulated it between 2 sculpted glass sheets, which were then set onto a stone base. With a few quick tweaks, the design was signed off and went into production. The whole process took approximately 4 weeks, from initial enquiry to delivery.
Kitman Labs emerged as the narrow winners of a hotly contested Spark of Innovation Award 2015. Our client Sports for Business are a fantastic organization that connects & brings together business & sports groups. We were delighted to be involved in creating such a unique award.
